Blend details & guidance
Anything raw, cold and in need of an argument
Chat masala lives or dies on its black salt. Ours is milled fine rather than crushed, so it disperses instead of landing in salty pockets, which is the single most common failure in this category.

- 02AmchurDry mango powder · Mangifera indica
Sourness without liquid, so it will not make a salad weep.
Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh
- 03AjwainCarom seed · Trachyspermum ammi
The bitter, thyme-like note that stops the blend tasting like sour salt.
Unjha, Gujarat
- 04PudinaDried mint · Mentha spicata

That is the kala namak, and it is supposed to. The smell is much stronger in the box than it is on food.
You can, but it is at its best raw. Heat dulls the amchur and the mint, so add it at the table or just before serving.
Yes. Like every Koral blend, it is vegetarian, and the box carries the green vegetarian mark on its front.
No. Its side panel carries the same three claims as every Koral box: 100% pure, no preservatives and no added colours.
It comes in a 100 g box. If you need a larger quantity for a restaurant, distributor or catering kitchen, tell us how much and we will come back to you. Ask about quantities
Keep the box closed, away from heat, damp and direct sunlight, and always use a dry spoon. Ground spice gives up its aroma over time, so it is at its best in the weeks after opening. The best-before date is printed on every box.
